Tell us about your company name.

The name Love Tribe Weddings is something my wife and I came up with. Our personal love tribe consists of our two boys, our doggies, and my wife and I. We love life and wanted to extend that energy and lifestyle into our business. So Love Tribe Weddings was born and hope that we can promote other love tribes out there to be as zestful as we are about life.

Why should someone hire you?

We have developed a unique approach to documenting weddings. There are no rules when it comes to this and we just want our clients to have a joyous and memorable experience. We love working with couples that enjoy stylish adventures, love to show their personalities, and just have a great time! If this is you, then we would be a fantastic fit!

What drew you to this field/how did you get started?

What drew us to weddings is the human connection. Being able to become friends with so many people from different cultures, traditions, and backgrounds is an amazing gift. I personally started in this field by taking photos of food at my culinary school a long time ago. I then started taking photos for several restaurants and chefs. Finally, one chef decided to ask if I could document their wedding. I said yes. It was in Kusadasi, Turkey. Yes my very first wedding was a destination wedding and I was hooked ever since. It was like someone lifted the veil off my face, haha.

What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?

Anything fashion, food, independent films, and electronic music.

Tell us about a favorite, unusual or very interesting moment at a wedding:

Costa Rica is one of my favorites. Walking through a rainforest early morning, hearing the howling monkeys while taking photos of the locals. Then to later travel to the top of a mountain with a couple where a gorgeous restaurant overlooked the Pacific Ocean. Capturing images of them in the warm sun surrounded by little monkeys, tropical birds, and gorgeous scenery. Unreal!

What makes a wedding memorable for you?

The people, the places, the connections.

What have weddings taught you?

Documenting weddings has taught me that we all can have what it takes to celebrate life to the fullest and that we all want the same thing. That one thing is love.

What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?

Communication, hiring a planner or coordinator, and asking for advice when in question. Each vendor is an expert at what they do. They are there to help.

If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?

Haha, oh goodness. I guess to be able to fly to get epic angles!

Always live in the moment and don't dwell on the past. And always make time for family and friends.

Jiu-Jitsu and cooking.

If you weren't in your current profession, what would you do instead?

I'd probably be in the fashion industry and travel.

What’s your favorite way to wind down after a hard day?

Wind down? What's that? lol. Honestly just learning something new.

Tell us about your pets, if you have any.

Tinky, Maltese, 14 years young and such a sweet heart. Mr. Gooch! Yorkie, left us too early but here with us in spirit. Rio, Giant Schnauzer, makes his presence known.

What are some of your favorite places to eat—either everyday spots or special occasion splurges?

Omg, anything Neapolitan.
