A Here Comes The Guide Wedding Venue Review
Read More Show Less

With its white-stucco archways, red-tile roof, and vibrant courtyard, the Lucie Stern Center is a quintessential example of Spanish-Mediterranean architecture. Originally built in 1934 as a community theater, this welcoming venue now offers a variety of options for weddings and special events.

The brick courtyard, with its lush surrounding greenery, is enjoyed by the community year-round and is a welcoming space for guests to relax and take in the tranquil scenery. Enhancing this picturesque setting is the majestic theater, standing tall in the background—it's evocative of a centuries-old Spanish church.

From the courtyard, guests walk through double glass doors into the spacious Lucie Stern Center Ballroom, complete with a beautiful hardwood floor, dark wood wainscoting and two floral-tiled fireplaces. Designed in a rustic, hacienda style, the room features a cathedral ceiling with exposed wooden beams and six cylindrical chandeliers crafted of black wrought iron. Seven large, dramatic windows frame views of the facility's verdant front lawn and allow natural light to filter into the room.

If your wedding is small and informal, consider hosting it in the attractive Community Room, whose windows overlook a Mission-style promenade. Two sets of French doors open to a patio that's enclosed by stucco and vine-covered walls and a wooden colonnade. This private outdoor space has a two-tiered lawn bordered by an array of colorful flowers—the upper level is the ideal spot for your ceremony or live entertainment. For a more intimate setting, reserve the Fireside Room. Accessed by another set of French doors off of the patio, its focal point is an impressive brick-and-stucco fireplace.

From the blooming white roses at the courtyard entry to the open-air promenade and Mission-style rooms, the Lucie Stern Community Center is a charming location for any occasion. We encourage you tour the building and grounds, and discover the many possibilities available for your event.
