Just walking into the lobby of this former Stock Exchange Tower, situated in the heart of the Financial District, gives you an inkling of what's to follow. One glance at the highly polished black-and-green marble floors, black-and-white marble walls and gold ceiling and you feel instantly surrounded by glamour.

Elevators whisk you up to the 10th floor, and the entrance to The City Club itself. Here, even the elevator doors—framed in bronze and decorated in silver, bronze and brass appliqué—offer an elegant example of this facility's attention to detail.

The club (which occupies the 9th through 12th floors) features one of the most striking and exquisite Art Deco interiors we've seen, including a remarkable stairwell painted with an original 30-foot-high Diego Rivera fresco. Furnishings are original Art Deco pieces and appointments are generously clad in black marble, silver and brass. The ceiling is stunning, covered with burnished gold leaf squares. Sophisticated with just the right amount of glitz, this is an exceptional place for a wedding ceremony and/or reception, special event or corporate affair.
