If you're looking for a different type of Officiant, then look no further. Sanford Marshall – The Wedding Coach – has made it part of his personal mission as an Officiant to change the feeling of the traditional ceremony to one that is exciting and accessible. Many couples today say, "we don't want the ceremony to feel stuffy; but rather filled with moments of laughter, reflection, and emotion". This is what he does best. Sanford brings his fantastic sense of humor and thoughtful spiritual side to every ceremony. He provides each couple with a customized chance to celebrate in a way that allows their personal style and preferences to shine. One of his brides told us, "Sanford has a knack for connecting with both men and women." And this ability to connect to the couple is key to planning a thoughtful and personalized ceremony.

The ceremony is the moment where all the magic begins—and a moment like this deserves to be amazing. "It would be my pleasure to assist you in making your ceremony one that you will treasure, and your guests will always remember. May All Your Dreams Come True!" —Sanford Marshall, The Wedding Coach

“I’ve not been to a single wedding where I believe the officiant has been better than Sanford. Hands down.”

“He told some great stories and made everyone laugh really hard—exactly what we had hoped.”

“Ceremony was perfect. He was able to share his experiences and advice without sounding corny or rehearsed.”

“I really do think he was the best person I could have chosen to perform our wedding ceremony.”

“We ultimately decided to write our own vows and Sanford effectively and eloquently captured what we both wanted in our non-denominational, formal, yet fun wedding ceremony.”

“Guest loved his demeanor and his fluid speech.”

“His personality, gregariousness, sense of humor and kindness led us to him as our first choice as wedding officiant.”

“He was very easy to talk to and we met several times before the wedding to conceptualize and plan.”

“He did participate in the rehearsal—in fact, he was sort of the wedding coordinator for the rehearsal and he kept everyone in line. He was a lot of help that night!”

“It is nice to share a few jokes and loosen up when you have so many details to plan. He reminded us to enjoy the process. How nice it was to have someone who takes his job seriously but can also lighten the mood.”

“Sanford is creative, professional and has a wonderful spiritual side. Any bride and groom would be in good hands with Sanford on the altar with them!”

What 3 words describe your work?

Thoughtful. Collaborative. Customized.

Tell us about your company name.

The Wedding Coach is all about facilitating a great process for both the bride and groom. We recognize that both the bride and groom have elements of this day that are extremely important to them both individually and as a couple. We want those moments to shine so that the couple has the day they have been dreaming about.

Why should someone hire you?

Because my number one priority is always that my client's vision is achieved. My agenda is all about them and making sure that both of them feel truly involved in the process. It also doesn't hurt that I am a fun guy that really has the unique ability of making people feel at ease.

What drew you to this field/how did you get started?

I was drawn to this field because I really love to see people celebrating their most precious moments. These are signature events and deserve the utmost care and concern. I felt that my personality and communication skills could help make it more enjoyable for all involved instead of a stressful experience that robs them of the joy it should be.

What is the best advice you give to a couple when planning their wedding?

Do not compromise on having your vision for this day achieved. This day is about you, so be selfish and celebrate the way you want to. Your friends and family will adjust to your vision because they love you.

What makes a wedding memorable for you?

The love and affection displayed between the bride and groom as well as the family and friends in attendance. The joy on their faces really expresses the emotion of this day.

What's your favorite book/movie/work of art?

The Princess Bride.

If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?

To control the speed of time in both directions.

What are 3 words that describe your personality?

Fun, understanding, charismatic.

What is your favorite quote?

May all your dreams come true!!
